Last summer I set up a photo booth at a block party in Fishtown.  A mixture of longtime neighborhood folk and the newcomers. This is who showed up.

Cthulhu

Ive always been fascinated with Cthulhu.  And my mother has always been obsessed with cuttlefish. So much so that she would paint pictures of them all the time.  This is an octopus I shot for a composite Im working on with an artist based on the Cthulhu monster.

I got a little bored around the holidays and put together this time lapse video. The backing music is from my band Surgeon

I photographed the Trenton Ave Arts fest along with the kinetic sculpture derby in Kensington. Ive attended the derby before the last couple years its happened and had a great time so when the NKCDC asked me to shoot the event I was happy to oblige.  The derby featured a bunch of local artisits who more or less altered their bicycles and created moving sculptures. They raced through the neighborhood and ended up finishing in a giant mud pit.

This is my friend Derek. This photo was taken about a year after he was a in a bad accident. He was hit by 2 cars while riding his bike. The surgeons didnt think he would ever ride again. Hes now training to get back up to his former shape and doing really well.  We shot this in Philadelphia at lemon hill in Fairmount Park
